More Care, More Cures, More Kids!

Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Portland is internationally renowned for its pediatric orthopaedic care, offering treatment for conditions like scoliosis, club foot and limb deficiencies and discrepancies. Additionally, the hospital also provides surgery and therapy for patients born with cleft lip and palate deformities. We accept every child whose diagnosis fits our treatment skill set, and we provide this care without financial obligation to the patient or family.

Last year, nearly 11,000 children came to us from throughout the Pacific Northwest seeking the expert, specialized care they need to live happy, productive lives. But many more children are in need of our help.

Campaign Pacific Northwest has three simple goals:
• Provide ongoing support for pediatric specialty care at Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Portland
• Help find solutions to some of the most serious pediatric disorders through our aggressive research program.
• Dramatically reduce our waiting list and give more children access to the world-class care we provide.

A two-phased building project to expand and renovate the hospital will help meet these goals by allowing us to hire additional pediatric orthopaedic surgeons, serve almost 50 percent more children and dramatically reduce waiting times. Ongoing support provided by donors to the Campaign will also help ensure we are able to care for kids in the future and can continue to make discoveries that will impact the health of children throughout the world.
