FEATURE STORY: Daniel is still smiling despite challenges
When a plane crashed into Daniel Happy’s Sanford, Fla. home in 2007, his life changed forever. Only hours after the crash, he was airlifted to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Cincinnati. Daniel was not expected to survive but amazingly, he did. Now 12, he has made an exceptional recovery and will serve as a patient ambassador at the East-West Shrine Game in Orlando, Fla. this Saturday.
